Going into this game, Merill Lynch knew that a Coach Murray team would be well-prepared and would play aggressively. And they didn't disappoint! Merill Lynch tried to keep it close until Simmons "busted it open" in the bottom of the fourth inning. Solid pitching by the Simmons staff shut down any rallies that Merrill Lynch tried to mount. Once again, "Big" Eddie Dunbar continues to amaze by going 2-for-2! Simmons will be a strong team in the playoffs, which is no surprise for a Coach Murray team. The Merrill Lynch team must get back to basics and remember the formula that was successful early in the season ... play smartly and play as a TEAM.
