In the chess match of the season, Dom's struggled early in every aspect of the game. But in the 2nd have the bats came alive, the runners ran and the positive vibes were flowing freely, shifting the momentum our way. We took the lead and Woodsy managed to seal the deal after a very hard fought 5th and 6th inning by Barra. It seemed like every batter was David Eckstein, fouling off pitch after pitch, working Woodsy to 8 or 9 pitch at bats. Hats off to Coach "extraordinare" Matson for truly having the most balanced, well taught group of boys I have seen this year. It was a game that I wish no one had to lose, and wished we were in opposite divisions, so we wouldn't have to play each other so early on. On to the next round....stay tuned!
