		The NCYBA RED team played a very solid game today. Pitching was solid, hitting was strong, defense was slick, and the baserunning were aggresive. Brendan "BIG PAPI" Morrison lead the attack, going 2 for 2, 2 runs scored, and 2 RBIs including an inside the park homerun. John Sweeny went 1 for 2, 1 walk and 4 RBIs. Defensively, Jonah Booker and Michael Ferris combined to make the "PLAY OF THE DAY". With one out in the top of the sixth and the Pine Bush Americans on the attack, Michael Ferris threw a strike from deep short to catcher Jonah Booker, who in one motion caught the ball while blocking the plate with his knees in time to tag out the sliding baserunner. Once again, excellent execution of a defensive play that has been the trademark of the NCYBA RED team throughout the tournament. A great congrats to the NCYBA RED team on an excellent tournament. We are all very proud of your accomplishments! A great big thank you to all the parents for your tremendous support.
