The Time Warner boys took a comanding 10-2 lead going in to the bottom of the 6th and held on for dear life as Coach Haller's Subway team came storming back to have men on 2nd and 3rd and the score of 10-9 with only one out. Alex Lang came in to strike out the next batter and elicit a slow ground out to first baseman Sean Moran, who promptly stepped on first, preserving the win. This game was highlighted by 4 strong innings of pitching by Cooper Martell and some key hits by Jerry Burke, Ryan Sontz and Taylor-Blue Clark. Some quick plays by Center Fielder Bryce Dirisio held runners to only singles as he got the ball in to second base allowing the runners not to advance. Ryan Murray did an excellent job behind the plate and Devin Wright, Luke Thompson and Jared Haas had some nice strokes at the ball that advanced the runners in important situations. Caps off to Coach Haller's Subway team for a spirited fight to the finish!
