A really tight game between two evenly matched teams. Even the parents from both sides were on the edge of their seats and excitedly cheering each team on. Green Drakkoman's pitching rotation did a great job in keeping the team in the game. Gregory Racela worked a 1-2-3 fourth inning with the help of some heads-up play by Andrew Inglee at SS. Jeremy Hamel was also stellar on the mound as he struck out the side in the 3rd inning. On offense, the Green Drakkoman struggled to swing the bats. However, Jeremy Weissman once again got on base twice and scored the winning run on Gregory Racela's clean single through the shortstop hole. Tucker Couch also showed some heads-up play by taking a walk and then stealing second base to lead off the sixth inning. Tucker would eventually come around to score the tying run. Once again, the Green Drakkoman have to work on swinging the bats. The boys seem to be afraid of striking out, but they should be confident and aggressive at the plate especially if the pitcher throws a strike. To illustrate this point, the team had seven "looking" strikeouts and only three "swinging" strikeouts.
