Our hats off to a very good Merrill Lynch team. Both teams played really well for the first round of the playoffs. Had some great defense today. Nice 1-3 combination in the first with Tyler and Austin. Brandon had two nice catches to end Merrill lynch at bats, Justin with a nice catch 2 SS. Main event today was Tyler pitching 3 awesome innings 1st thru 3rd. In three innings he only faced 10 hitters and struck out 7 of them. Justin pitched two solid innings facing 9 batters and striking out 5. And then there was Hunter. Pitching for the first time and in a playoff game he faced three batters made a nice 1-3 combination, had a fly out with Justin at SS and ended the game with a big "K". Way to go Hunter. Hits today by Austin, Justin, Brandon and Devin. On to the second round!
