Friedman's Flyers earned a win in a hard fought, see-saw battle with a tough Gregory's Barbershop squad. Friedman's battled back from an early 4-1 deficit, went ahead 5-4, trailed 6-5, went ahead again 10-6, trailed again 11-10 and finally pushed ahead for good 12-11 in a darkness shortened 5 inning affair. The offensive stars included Ben Brock who had a triple, 2 RBI and 2 runs scored. Connor LaTorre also lined a hard single driving in a run. Drew Thompson had 2 hits, scored a run and drove in a run. Drew also made his mound debut and battled hard in an inning of work. Ben Gagnon came on to pitch the final 2 innings, and finally quieted the hard-hitting Gregory's team with a 1-2-3 5th innning to seal the win.
