A tough loss to Friedman's Flyers, who made a number of plays in the field to keep the Backyard hitters off the bases. Andrew Luntz and Michael Mullen pitched well. Tom Curiale had an rbi single. Jimmy Gallagher and Zack O'Brien also contributed to a rally in the 4th. Luke Roe had a nice diving stip of a sharply hit grounder. Dermot McDonough did a nice job behind the plate in the mid-afternoon heat.		In a very well played and pitched game by both sides, Friedman's Flyers got by Backyard Sheds & Gazebos 6-2. Friedman's was led by Michael Ortale who did his best Roy Halladay impersonation and pitched 5 strong innings. He also roped 2 doubles driving in 2 runs and scored a run. Cameron Schultz played his typical strong game behind the plate, and hit is first HOME RUN of the year driving in two. Ben Gagnon also doubled and tripled, scored twice, played a solid shortstop and pitched the final inning to preserve the win. Luke Andres scored two runs and swiped 3 bags. The leather was being flashed all around with Connor Latorre making some fine plays at second base, and Joey Schrempf playing a solid hot corner and filling in at short.
