Another epic battle between Coach Paulsen and Coach Marsh. Not many hits or runs as pitching and good defense dominated the game. Ryan Marsh went 2-3, helping Dicks Sporting Goods to a 4-1 victory over Paulsen Development on Monday at NCYBA Field two. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the sixth inning. Paulsen Development couldn't get anything going so long as Robert Burke was on the hill. Paulsen Development managed just two hits off of the Dicks Sporting Goods' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out four during his 3 2/3 innings of work. Dicks Sporting Goods stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the second, scoring one run on an RBI double by Garrett Klahr. Dicks Sporting Goods piled on two more runs in the bottom of the sixth. Nick Miller's double got things going, bringing home Marsh. That was followed up by a groundout by Burke that scored Miller.
