Crisafulli Bros. got off the schnide with their first win of the season against a talented Masterseal squad. In a night that was more appropriate for the gridiron than the baseball diamond, Crisafulli Bros. was led by Michael Turoski who had 3 hits including a triple, scored twice and drove in a run. Cameron Schultz singled twice and scored a run, and Camron Von Wedel added a double and run scored. Garrett Skultety and Jack Huber drew walks and scored in the 5th inning that proved critical to holding off the hard-charging Materseal squad led by Alex (Big Man) Pelow and Andrew Baker. On the hill for Crisafulli Bros, Joey Schrempf pitched his best game and kept Masterseal squad off the scoreboard through 5 innings. Alex Shudt came in to hold off the late rally by Masterseal and preserve the victory. John Turoski filled in admirably as Skipper for Crisfulli Bros, with the assistance of Marc Latorre.
