The Keystone Builders team was looking to stay in the 1st half mix in a Friday night contest. There was a noticeable "buzz" around the Intermediate Field as the 1st place Bellizzi's squad took the field with Caleb Federman, their talented right hander, toeing the rubber. Both teams played hard in a taut, exciting, contest. The game was tied 4-4 in the bottom of the 5th. Bellizzi's Ethan Royko delivered what turned out to be the decisive blow, a 2 run "touch 'em all" shot over the CF fence. Keystone rallied in the 6th, and had the tieing runs on base when Bellizzi's hard throwing southpaw, Connor Momrow, threw a perfect strike to end it. For Keystone, Ian Dickinson, Harrison Polverelli and Brian Bolduc (who snared a rocket off the bat of Chris Taranto) all made nice defensive plays. Pete Ernst continued his hot hitting with two singleand a walk. Bolduc and Luntz each had a hit and two runs scored. Tony Cheruvu had a sharply hit rbi single to left. Dickinson and Polverelli also had rbis. Hats off to the players on both teams for an entertaining game.
