The first half came to a close and Crisafulli Bros. dropped the finale to a well coached Segel, Goldman, Mazzotta & Siegel, P.C. squad (What no Vagianelis in the title?). SGMS stymied Crisafulli Bros. with fine pitching performances from their top 4 of Dermot McDonough, Matt Tiberia, Kyle Lewis and Colin Roche. Crisafulli Bros. received a gritty performance from Camron Von Wedel who was sharp early on the mound, and sustained a facial injury in the third inning. Camron, though, toughed it out for a short-handed Crisafulli Bros. and stayed in the game. A truly inspiring effort out of Camron who also singled and scored the lone run for Crisafulli Bros on a double by Zack O'Brien. Matt Cavaliere played a fine all-around game with three hits, four stolen bases, fine defense at second and "putting up a zero" in his mound debut. Kudos to Matt Tiberia for hitting a bomb of a home run that cleared left center and landed well onto the Majors Field. Shake it off boys, and let's go get' em in the second half.
