Swifty's got by a short-handed Bob Bellizzi's team, 7-2 after great work by all got the field in playing shape following the rain. Swifty's was led by Matt Wise who went to the opposite field for his 1st homer of the year, Eric Signor who tripled and scored, Austin Fox who drove in a run with a long double and scored twice, Alex Shudt who singled twice, drove in a run and scored twice, and Ian Dickinson and Joey Schrempf who each contributed RBI singles. Aaron Schenck also demonstrated a keen eye at the plate drawing a walk. On the hill, Eric Signor battled hard for two innings and gave way to Drew Ksanznak who slammed the door with an economical four shutout innings. Swifty's brought their gloves with fine plays being made by Zack Zonca at 2nd, Alex Shudt and Kevin Harder at short, and Ian Dickinson in Centerfield gunning out a runner at 3rd with a perfect strike. Thanks to Coach Jennings and Coach Taranto on a good game.		Bellizzi's came up short against a Swifty's team that played great baseball in all areas - big hits when needed, exceptional defense and strong pitching. Bellizzi's could only register five hits all night led by the following: Jerry Jennings (double, single), Tom Raleigh (double, RBI), Chris West (single, 1 run scored), and Dylan Conway (single).
