A close and exciting little league classic complete with a severe weather suspension of game and make-up inning. Dave "Downtown" Harvey got things started early for Price Greenleaf by hitting a 2-run homer in the first inning down the left field line. Bellizi's answered with two runs in the fourth inning to tie things up. The bottom of the fifth saw a little of everything and was suspended with two outs and bases loaded for Bellizi's. Upon resumption of play Trey Sgroi hit an impressive grand slam home run over the center field fence which turned out to be the difference in this game. As they have been known to do, Price Greenleaf and Chris Harvey answered by striking out the next batter and the Price Greenleaf batters answered with three hits in the top of the sixth and one run. Excellent pitching performances from both teams with Jeff Hammond and Chris Harvey leading Price Greenleaf and Tom Raleigh and Caleb Federman leading Bellizzi's.
