Darkness after five completed innings		On a tremendous evening for baseball, Bryant Asset Protection and a tough Four Corners Pharmacy played one of the most thrilling games of the season. Bryant’s Brendan O’Keefe was a power house on offense, hitting three home runs: a two-run laser in the first; a grand slam in the fourth to put the team ahead 10-9 in the bottom of the fourth; and a spectacular two-run shot that landed on the pitcher’s mound on the major’s field, which evened the game 16 to 16 in the bottom of the fifth. Nate Quackenbush reached base four times, scored three runs, went two for two, and hit his first home run of the season - a shot to the deepest part of the park in right center. Marcus Gentile added two hits, including a triple to clear the bases during the team’s six-run rally in the bottom of the fifth. Ben Bryant had a critical RBI in the fifth; Nick Quackenbush added a hit, stole a base and scored a run in the fifth; Robbie Quinlan scored three runs and pitched well, yielding only three runs in his first start of the season and striking out six batters; Michael Hazaz had a double, a stolen base and was robbed of an infield hit by Four Corners’ pitcher, Jacob Kantrowitz, who made a fantastic diving catch; Timmy Carlson stole a base and scored a run; Christian Abdo added a run scored and a stolen base; and Hunter McCauliffe scored a big run in the fifth. Liam Gregory of Four Corners went three for three with a home run and reached base five times. A great display of offense from both teams and as Mr. Hazaz put it “one of the most exciting games I have watched in a long time. You boys really showed teamwork. Brendan, you were awesome!”
